After spending a couple months on my indoor Spinner Blade , I realized I was not getting the satisfaction of riding outdoors equipped with some type of monitoring device. Without feedback as to how much I was pushing myself, or not, my motivation and progression were waning.
After researching several options to help alleviate my apathy I came across the SPinPower Studio Crank. I was a bit cautious in my approach to purchase any new device as many products just don't work as advertised. Reading review blogs on several sites gave me the hope that this could be the remedy to my casual approach of riding as of late.
Fast forward two months and I can say I am very pleased with the SpinPower Studio Crank. I also purchased the Spinner (dual mode) heart rate monitor, and the Spinner Studio Computer to view my cadence, heart rate, interval work, and power output...Wow what a concept (-:
I'm now getting back into riding (at 62) after taking a hiatus for a year to work on house projects, and am enjoying the tougher workouts with the additional "tools" I have within reach.
The fact that the SpinPower Studio Crank pairs seamlessly with Zwift enables me to enjoy group training rides, events, and races which are not reachable during the winter months in Northern CA.
This is exactly what I needed to seriously crank up the power!
