This course covers the practical knowledge and skills needed to become a Certified Spinning® Instructor and lead your own classes.
It’s ideal for anyone who is just getting started as an indoor cycling instructor or has some indoor cycling teaching experience.

This certification is for those who want to teach performance oriented classes that focus on measurable results through power-based technology.

Prior teaching experience is not necessary if you have experience riding indoors or out.

Learn how to elevate your class experience with visuals, DJ-like music mixes, and expert coaching skills. If you have some experience teaching cycling or are an experienced rider and want to create that "it" factor with your profiles, music, coaching, or visuals, this certification is for you.

If you’re currently certified by another recognized indoor cycling organization, take our Spinning® Bridge Certification. This is an abbreviated online course for earning Spinning® Instructor Certification.

Spinning® Instructor CertificationWho is it for?

Spinning® Instructor Certification is the original certification course. It prepares you to lead classes with all the essential knowledge, such as bike setup and safety, form and technique, intensity zones and interval training, cueing for performance, motivation, and creating classes and playlists.

This is ideal for you if:

• You love taking classes, and you want to learn how to get better on the bike and maybe even teach someday.

• You’re just starting out and have never taught Spinning® or any other indoor cycling classes before.

• You taught indoor cycling before, but want to earn the official Spinning® certification.

How It Works

We have live (in-person or virtual) and on demand (online) formats.

Live ( in-person or virtual)

Live training (in-person) is led by a Master Instructor in a group setting at a Spinning® facility. These are scheduled worldwide throughout the year. You don’t need to be affiliated with a Spinning® facility to attend. Simply register for the live training course that works with your schedule.

Live virtual training is also led by a Master Instructor, but the course is conducted virtually via Zoom. There is no in-person gathering. You can attend from your home or anywhere you can access Zoom.

On Demand (online)

On demand (online) training can be completed at your own pace from any internet-connected computer or device.All topics covered are the same. The only difference is, you learn from video lessons rather than real-time presentations.
