The Chrono® is our flagship Spinning® power bike, built for studios and facilities that program around accurate performance data. It features the SPINPower® Studio Crank with +/- 1% power accuracy, wirelessly paired to a self-powered console that requires no batteries or power outlet.
The patented magnetic resistance system provides greater resistance range at every cadence with zero contact pads to wear down or replace.
A 46 lb perimeter-weighted flywheel — our heaviest to date — delivers an authentic road feel for both performance and rhythm-based classes, while the Fusion Drive® belt system keeps every ride smooth, quiet, and virtually maintenance-free.
The corrosion-resistant aluminum frame is designed for high-humidity studio environments and years of heavy daily use.

The SPINPower® Studio Crank measures rider output with +/- 1% accuracy and sends watts, speed, and distance data wirelessly to the onboard console. Bluetooth and ANT+ connectivity means riders can also pair with popular fitness apps and your facility's leaderboard system. A 46 lb perimeter-weighted flywheel — the heaviest in our lineup — pairs with our patented magnetic resistance system and Linear Resistance System™ to produce a ride that genuinely feels like the road.
Most magnetic bikes rely on fewer magnets spinning at higher flywheel speeds to generate resistance. Spinning® took a different approach: more magnets at lower flywheel speed, creating a linear resistance curve that closely mirrors outdoor cycling. The result is greater resistance at lower cadences for stronger riders, while also providing expanded resistance range for newer riders finding their footing. The system micro-adjusts to deliver a smooth, progressive feel at every turn of the resistance knob.
Combined with the virtually silent Fusion Drive® belt system, the only sound in your studio is the music and the coach. A wider step-through frame makes it easy for riders of all mobility levels to get on and off between classes.
Durability and Maintenance

The Chrono's aluminum frame resists corrosion and channels moisture away from internal components through sealed panels and our signature umbrella design — virtually no flat surfaces or entry points for sweat. Magnetic resistance eliminates the brake pads that wear down on friction-based bikes. The self-powered console runs on an integrated generator, so there are no batteries to stock or replace.
The Fusion Drive® belt system integrates our perimeter-weighted flywheel, an ultra-durable Poly-V belt, and a proprietary self-tensioning system that engages the belt for a tighter fit with no vibration or slip. There's no chain to lubricate, no chain to replace, and no drivetrain drift across your fleet over time. Unlike belt drives on other bikes that can feel mushy or buzzy under load, Fusion Drive® transfers cranking energy directly for a seamless, reliable pedal stroke — class after class, bike after bike. An oversized single-bolt access panel keeps drivetrain inspection fast and simple when the time comes.
