Level 2 is an advanced achievement on the Spinning® Instructor Certification Pathway. It designates instructors who have progressed beyond Level 1 Certified Instructor status, and are committed to improving their knowledge and skills.
Eligibility: To be eligible to take the Level 2 Exam, you must have earned at least 20 CECs. Since the content of the exam is based on the Spinning® program, you'll be better prepared to take the exam if you earned your CECs through Spinning continuing education rather than petitioned courses.
The Exam: The Level Exam consists of 60 multiple-choice and true/false items that will test your knowledge of setup and safety, heart rate training and class design. The exam is based on content from the Spinning® Instructor Manual and continuing education courses including Heart Rate Training, Aerobic Base Building, and Spinning Energy Zones. It's an open-book, untimed exam.
Upon passing the exam you will earn the designation of Level 2–Advanced.
