Spinning® Apparel, Shorts, Shoes, Pedals and Heart Rate Monitors
Great bikes: check. Great DVDs: check. Great shorts, shoes, jerseys, heart rate monitors and accessories: you bet! Look no further than the shopping section of Spinning.com for all your indoor cycling needs. We know how to keep you looking and feeling great every time you step into a Spinning® class or hop on your bike at home. We didn't stop with bikes and education when we created the Spinning concept, because we believe that there's more we can do to help make your training experience more comfortable and rewarding. Although the Spinning program and Spinner® line of bikes draws its heritage from racing out on the road, we quickly realized that the demands of riding indoors were far different than riding outdoors. Extreme weather, rain and wind don't exist indoors, so traditional cycling apparel isn't always the best choice for indoor cycling.
Tired of wearing clingy, wet cycling apparel and shoes designed for the road, our team set out to design and develop the first line of moisture-wicking performance indoor cycling shorts, jerseys, shoes and accessories. Every piece of our performance wear is designed to wick moisture away from your skin and keep you cool and dry when you ride. Our padded shorts, bibs and leggings provide just the right amount of padding to make every ride comfortable, without being bulky.
If you're looking for the perfect pair of Spinning cycling shoes, we developed and carry a full line of shoes that make every ride cool and comfortable. Unlike athletic shoes that flex and cause discomfort, all of our shoes incorporate a stiff sole to reduce foot fatigue and increase pedaling efficiency, incorporates a breathable upper section to reduce heat and moisture, and works with either SPD or Look (Delta) compatible cleats and pedals. Our new Trio Pro pedal combines an SPD compatible pedal with a Look (Delta) compatible pedal to create the ultimate in dual-sided pedal technology. The Easy Release lever makes it simple to convert the pedal to a standard toe cage for use with non-cleated shoes.
If you've taken a Spinning class at a local gym or studio, or popped in one of our DVDs, you've probably heard the instructor talk about intensity and heart rate training. Heart rate monitors are a key element of the Spinning program and provide real-time feedback on heart rate zones, intensity and recovery. Using a heart rate monitor is the best way to break through training plateaus, avoid over-training and ensure that you're working at an intensity that will help you achieve your fitness goals. It's not always about training harder, but rather training smarter. We offer a complete line of heart rate monitors from Polar, Garmin and the revolutionary Spinning Tracker app for your iPhone and iPad, which allows users to monitor and track every workout.
