China

Jiang "Jason" Li

Jason has a Bachelor’s Degree in Philosophy and is an AASFP Certified Personal Trainer. He has a strong background in road cycling and teaches Spinning in Beijing at the Active Lifestyle China official Spinning studio. He was the first person to teach the Spinning 8-Week Weight Loss Program in China. Now he is the Spinning Program Supervisor in the China region and helps to grow the Spinning program in this market.

Pei Jie "Benjamin" Chi

Benjamin has been in the fitness industry since 1997. He holds certifications with Network Pilates, INCA international nutrition, and FISAF as an aerobics instructor and personal trainer. He was one of the first certified Spinning instructors in China, teaching the program since 2002. He owns his own fitness consultant company in Beijing. "Teaching the Spinning program inspired me, so I want to inspire as many people as I can in China and maybe the world by sharing knowledge."

Stanley Wong

Stanley Wong is a Spinning Master Instructor for Hong Kong, China and has been in the fitness industry for years. He holds various certifications in the aerobics, pilates, and yoga formats as well as personal training. He is currently the Group Exercise Manager for California Fitness and in-house trainer for the Spinning team in Hong Kong.

India

Kiddy Kaul

Kiddy has been a fitness professional for the past 12 years and is a certified ACSM Health and Fitness Specialist and Reebok group fitness coach. She runs Club Xcell, a leading group fitness studio in Delhi, and started one of the first authorized Spinning studios in India. Passionate about running and the outdoors, she trains people for half-marathons and is actively involved in promoting the Spinning program and fitness as a way of life.

Sujit Lavalekar

Sujit is the Director/ Founder of several Spinning® studios - Cadence Indoor Cycling in Pune, India, and aspires to further develop the Spinning Program throughout India. He is an avid cyclist, winning several accolades in National Mountain Bike/ High Endurance Adventure Races and fervently encouraging all to experience cycling.

Japan

Masakuni Tachi

A Master Instructor for Spinning program, Kuni began began teaching Spinning in 1996 and has over 10 years experience in the fitness industry. A professional cyclist in endurance mountain biking and downhill racing, he is a downhill champion in the Kyushu area, a national team member for the Masters World Championships in downhill mountain biking, and Director of the mountain bike races. He is also a personal trainer for professional boxers, riding & pedaling skills advisor, and conditioning & strength trainer of Body-Architect.

Singapore

Christina Liew-Gin

Christina has a Bachelors of Dental Science degree. She is a part-time dentist and also instructs group exercise classes at California Fitness, Singapore. Christina competes regularly as a road cyclist and is one of the top female cyclists in Singapore and the region. She was ranked 1st for female road cyclists in Singapore from 2005-2009. She is a TREKNOLOGY sponsored rider and is also part of the ‘Team Elite’ Powerbar Singapore.

David Velez

Born in Colombia, South America, David is a Master Instructor for the Spinning program and an AFAA and ZUMBA Trainer. David has been a fitness professional for over 17 years and has been an International Presenter running workshops and master classes in fitness conventions around the world like Spain, Mexico, Cayman Island, Bermuda, Colombia, Florida, Beijing, Shanghai, Kuala Lumpur, Philippines, Bangkok, Hong Kong, Ecuador and England. He is currently a Country Group X Manager at California Fitness in Singapore.

Taiwan

Tammy Lee

Tammy Lee has been a Master Instructor for the Spinning program since 2005. She is a Licensed Instructor of National American Sports Medicine (NASM), Federation of International Sports, Aerobics & Fitness, Inc. (FISAF), Speedo, Les Mills Combat/Pump, Latin Dance, Tai Chi Chuan, National Martial Arts, and National Swimming (B Level). In addition, she is the author of the Aqua Aerobics Beauty published in 2007. She spent 10 years working as an instructor at Alexander Fitness Center in Taipei teaching Spinning, Body Combat, Body Pump and Aqua. Some of her achievements in international swimming, Wu-shu and bike race competitions include: World Cup Martial Arts Competition - Gold Medal in 1986; 200m freestyle /200m medley /100m butterfly /100m backstroke /50m breaststroke woman - Gold Medal from 1989 to 1993; and mountain bike - National Chung-Cheng Cup Silver Medal in 2003. She is also an active triathlete and has been an instructor of martial arts and boxing for the national Special Forces. Other fitness work includes instructing a Mommy’s Aqua class for pregnant women, and she has been a personal trainer of celebrities. She currently works full time as an instructor for California Fitness Center and and focuses on coalescing the real track experiences with Spinning coaching. She has led many of her students to national cycling races to promote cycling exercise nationwide.

Summer Wu

Summer Wu is a Spinning Master Instructor for Taiwan and also currently the in-house Master Trainer for all five California Fitness Centers in Taiwan. She is also an AFAA Certified Personal Trainer and a Yoga and Pilates Certified Instructor. She has authored the health books "Fitball:Sculpt and Toning" and "Flexibility for Health", with more fitness books on the way.

Australia

Natashia Iacovelli

Natashia is a passionate and energetic Master instructor having worked with MDA and the Spinning® Program since 1997. She has trained instructors throughout Asia, Australia and New Zealand. She is a regular presenter at WSSC and 24hr charity events in Asia. In 2012 she took her own charity ride - Ride of Oz - on tour across the East Coast to local facilities. Melbourne based, Natashia works in many areas of the fitness industry - a lecturer in vocational colleges teaching Certificates III & IV in Fitness, a Level 1 Triathlon Coach and is also a competitive 70.3 and Ironman® distance triathlete.

Tony Merrick

A Spinning Master Instructor, Certified Strength and Conditioning Coach, Certified and Registered Fitness and Gym Instructor and Certified Fat Loss Leader, Tony is Principal and Founder of Peak Body Performance Personal Training Management and the area coordinator for Perth's Fitness First "Boot Camp" training program.

As an independent provider for Bio/Analogics Health Management System in the aid of weight management and lifestyle enhancement, Tony enjoys hard-core training and testing the limits of the heart, mind and soul.

New Zealand

Ben Davies

Ben Davies has a Physical Education degree majoring in Biomechanics and has been in the Health and Fitness Industry for over 20 years. In addition to being a top level cyclist, Ben has represented New Zealand in triathlons as well as racing in several Ironmans. Working as both a StarTrac BDM for Asia and Spinning MI, Ben travels regularly but finds time to still teach 3-4 classes per week, which he says makes the travel it all worthwhile!

Peter Yeoman

Peter has been in the fitness industry for over 20 years. He is a competitive cyclist, a registered personal trainer and a Human Sports Master Trainer. Peter has lectured in Sport and Recreation at Auckland University of Technology in New Zealand, and has developed strength and conditioning programs for many successful elite athletes. He now runs his own personal training business, teaches Spinning classes and is helping to grow the Spinning program in New Zealand.
