Host a Training
Hosting a Spinning workshop is a convenient way to get your instructors certified, keep them up to date with continuing education (STAR Points, ACE, AFAA and NASM credits available), and recruit new instructors from your community. Hosting is simple—your facility provides the space and the Spinner® bikes, and Mad Dogg Athletics will take care of the rest. The Spinning Instructor Orientation is the first step in the Spinning education program and to keep your instructors sharp, motivated, and on top of the industry, we also offer many continuing education workshops.
If you are already an Official Spinning Facility, please log into your facility account and request to host a training using the link provided. If you are not yet an Official Spinning Facility, then please complete our training request form. To speak with our Workshop Coordinator, please call (800)-847-7746 or send us an email.
How it Works
You have the choice of holding your own, exclusive workshop for your instructors or hosting a workshop that is open to the public. The cost of an exclusive training is $2500.00 and includes training plus materials for up to eight participants ($312.50 per person). Additional participants pay the regular registration fees. For public workshops, we’ll promote it through our web site, emails and e-newsletters, and we’ll also handle all the administrative efforts such as registering participants and sending a Master Instructor. Best of all, for host facilities with 12 or more Spinner® bikes, there is potential to earn complimentary workshop registrations, cash awards, and our newly added option, gift certificates!
Complimentary registrations: When 10 persons have registered, and paid in full, for an Instructor Orientation or continuing education workshop, your facility will earn one complimentary registration into that training (course materials included). With 20 paid in full registrations, your facility earns a second complimentary registration (Note: Complimentary registrations may not be saved for future workshops).
Cash award: A repeat facility hosting a Spinning Instructor Orientation, can choose a cash award, dispersed in the form of a check approximately 45 business days following the training, and are based on the above schedule.
Gift certificate: A gift certificate, good for purchases at Spinning.com, is our newest option for repeat facilities who host a Spinning Instructor Orientation. Gift certificates can be redeemed shortly after the date of the training and are based on the above schedule.
